Hello and welcome to Ruune, I am Ellen Morgenstern, the founder and creator of both the brand, the Jewelry and the vision that is Ruune. Growing up I had an intrinsic desire to be in nature, I would spend hours surrounded by the trees, flowers, ocean and sky. Getting lost in the beauty and simplicity that is Mother Earth. I had always loved gemstones, marvelling at the earth's creations and the deep sentiment the stones carried in varied cultures throughout history. Alongside my love for nature and all things of the earth, I adored jewelry. The sentiment again alongside the talismanic nature of jewelry and the ability to convey messages through adornment captured my imagination and heart. Ruune was created out of a want to make pieces of jewellery with deep meaning, beautiful materials, and affordable quality, with the hope that the wearer will treasure each piece for whatever life journey they aspire to.
